IJOY LIO Max Mesh is the fifth disposable e-cigarette that is launched by IJOY, following the Lio bee, lio bee lit, lio bee 18 and lio nano. According to the survey, Ijoy is the first brand in the vape industry to introduce disposable e-cigs with oil coil separation system. We found that many other brands quickly joined the development and production of similar products since lio bee was launched. Ijoy still maintains his advantages, even if there are many chasers and competitors, and recently launched the industry’s first mesh coil disposable pod-IJOY LIO Max Mesh. Now let us take a look at the review and find what surprises from it.

LIO Max Mesh reminds me of the LIO BEE18 when i got it at first, the former is sized at 120*20mm, a little bit taller and wider compared to the side of 108*18mm from LIO BEE18. To some extend, LIO Max Mesh is more like the upgraded vision of LIO BEE18. We can find that the most obvious change on LIO MAX MESH should be the E-juice capacity when it comes to the appearance. It is prefilled with 10ml E-liquid, and also with pull & play design that is also called the Oil Coil Separation System.

Unlike the Vozol mesh stick max we reviewed last week, LIO Max Mesh is basic round design and its E-juice level can be monitored from any side. Build 1000mAh battery inside and with Micro USB port at the bottom side, which means you can recharge the battery until the E-liquid is totally ran out, no waste at all.

At the bottom, we can see the airflow system which is composed of four tiny holes, the airflow can be adjusted by twisting the ring at the bottom carefully. The sticker on LIO Max Mesh is not that kind of cheap one, it feels better and smoother than those i tried on other brand disposable e-cigs.

The most interesting thing is that LIO Max Mesh is equipped with mesh coil which is 0.6ohm resistance, the max output can be reached at 18W, yet most disposable e-cigs power on the market is between 7–15W.

Performance

LIO Max Mesh, just like its name, is a disposable pod with mesh coil inside. As for me, this is even my first time to try a disposable e-cig with 10ml E-juice capacity. To be honest it almost took me five days to finish the whole E-liquid, the flavor i tried is the Mango Ice with 30mg nicotine salt. At the first two days, the flavor is very impressive, the Mango Ice smells like the real fruit, you can easily get the Mango sweet as you want. From the third day, the sweet is still there, but sometimes will get a dry hit, instead of a burnt taste. It is oil coil isolated system, so i did not experienced the leaking problem.

The battery life for LIO Max Mesh is amazing, from my first puff to the last puff, it was charged by three times. Every time finished charging, the flavor changed nothing, but i do wish they can upgraded it to be with type-c port. When it comes to the airflow system, i can feel the airflow difference by twisting the airflow ring, no matter full open or half open airflow mode, you can feel it is more like restricted DTL. If you want to experience the MTL by LIO Max Mesh, then i do not think so. It is claimed on their official website that the LIO Max Mesh can last up to 3000 puffs, i did not counted my puffs for the five day use, but i guess it is not a problem to last 2000–2500 puffs.

Summary

LIO Max Mesh is considered to be the upgraded vision of LIO BEE18, prefilled with 10ml E-juice capacity and 1000mAh battery inside with Micro USB port. Not with any leaking issue based on the oil coil isolating system. The mesh coil with 0.6ohm on LIO Max Mesh supplying the 18W max output, you can absolutely get a restricted DTL experience.
