Feel

The mouthpiece is like a rounded whistle tip, which makes it easy to draw on. It’s all standard fare though, with the most immediately obvious thing being the loud colorways and branding.

Each device says “SIRIUS” in large letters in bold vibrant colors. While I don’t typically concern myself with how a device looks, there’s a point when I don’t want to see myself holding a red and purple thing in my hand. In that respect, I would prefer a little less “look at me” from these disposables.

Getting started

The Vaporlax Sirius is another one of these disposables that seems too well-made to be disposable. It’s got this glossy diamond textured pattern with a dual-color fade suggestive of the flavors. Atop sits a comfortable nipple tip with a transparent colored plastic housing that helps to identify the flavors.

Despite the fancy-looking body and shiny colors, this design feels more familiar to me since it’s more mechanical-mod looking — but I’d still like a more subdued design.

How does it suction?

The reason behind the strong hit of the Vape is the combination of a warm vape and a sensitive draw sensor. I’ve tested ten of these pens, and I never had a case where a hit doesn’t register. The device starts producing warm vapor the moment you start inhaling, and it heats up even more as you draw.

Talking about the draw, the Vape has this mid point airflow that allows it to be used both for MTL cigarette-like inhales, as well as very restricted lung inhales. If you are looking for the tight draw of a cigarette you may be a little bit disappointed, but the sensitive sensor makes up for it with impressive cloud production.

Are the flavors any good?

Strawberry Cream

Natural strawberries with a touch of cream that isn’t too sweet or rich. I’ve tried other strawberry cream flavors that just made me feel sick but this one is mellow and nice. The strawberry flavor is the main flavor and the cream compliments it nicely.

Banana Ice

This is somewhere between a natural banana taste and a banana candy, but more towards the candied side. There’s also just a touch of cooling involved. If you’re expecting an icy blast, change your expectations. I like the subtle cooling though and it makes this flavor perfectly enjoyable even for someone who doesn’t particularly like menthol flavors.

Rainbow Mix

I think that this is supposed to taste like the popular chewy round candies that rhyme with riddles, but it tastes like a fruit medley to me. It’s sweeter than a normal fruit mix would be, and I can’t discern any individual fruit flavors, but it’s very tasty. The mix of fruity notes come together nicely and make for an enjoyable and tasty vape. This flavor is sweet but I can still vape on it all day.

Verdict

All in all, the Vaporlax Sirius 2200 is a very good disposable. The overall battery life and liquid capacity give long running times. We haven’t yet had a battery die out with liquid still inside. We’ve tried other disposables in the past with an increased capacity that didn’t make it nearly as long as these have, and they’re still going.

Anyone that’s ever used disposables knows that puff estimates are hardly going to be accurate. The Vaporlax Sirius is stated to have 2200 puffs. Although we can’t officially say if you can get that many, the Vape has already lasted at least twice as long — for battery life and puffs — than virtually every other disposable we’ve tried.
